The Reviews

StarCrossed Hearts is a fabulous story! Anne Carter writes a tangled web that is almost impossible for the reader to find their way through. The writing is direct and straightforward, making a story any romance reader would love. I will gladly read anything this author writes again!

P.S. This was the first story in a long time that I just couldn't put down!

STARCROSSED HEARTS is a fast-paced story and intriguing tale about a woman and the two men who love her. At times while I read this I wanted to shake Jessica because of what she put Mac through, because he seemed to be the perfect guy for her. But then I wanted to shake Mac because, instead of talking over the misgivings he had, he closed himself off and disappeared. When it came to Dane, I thought he wasn’t really needed after the first few chapters but he redeems himself in my eyes by the end of the story. With someone out to hurt Jessica on the loose, Ms Carter has you suspecting everyone you meet in the book, as Mac and Dane try to figure out who it is. For a surprising story, I recommend Ms Carter’s STAR CROSSED HEARTS.

Within days of each other, Jessie meets two men who will change her life. Two men whom she will love and will love her with all their hearts; but indifferent ways...This novel left me with a feeling of having read a lighter Gone with the Wind, one with a happy ending. [StarCrossed Hearts is] fresh and heartwarming without being too sweet, with just the right amount of suspense for this story."
